ARL Network Operations Center (NOC)

• Two NOC's, one unclassified, one classified
• Each NOC will contain:
  • 10 monitors dedicated to particular computers
  • 3 switchable monitors
  • 1 large monitor for the group/main display
  • 4 SGI O2's
  • 4 SUN 170e's
  • 2 PentiumII PC's
  • 2 604e PowerPC's
  • color laser printer
  • electronically switched keyboard, mouse, sound
• Unclassified installation is underway
• Classified installation begins next week
• Operational in about one month
• Problems with monitors will cause delay
