Things You Can Do

• Use only large MTU interfaces/routers/links

(no Gigabit Ethernet?)

• Never reduce the MTU (or bandwidth) on the path between each/every host and the WAN

• Make sure your TCP uses Path MTU Discovery

• Compare your throughput to Treno
